How do we report compliance & support education?
All Soapy's hand hygiene units are Internet of Things (IoT) enabled. Each unit has a separate encrypted WiFi (or Ethernet) channel that connects it to a reporting and control cloud dashboard (SoapyWisdom).
Soapy's Artificial Intelligence (AI) engine makes sure that the most accurate and up-to-date hand washing guideline tutorials are presented to the user for each use case.
Furthermore, an AI algorithm analyzes hand hygiene quality in real-time. It provides instant feedback (hand rub technique, presence of soap on hands, rinsing quality, etc.) to the user at the end of each handwashing cycle.

How do We Measure Quality?
Each unit, with the use of an array of computer sensing and AI algorithms, captures more than 100 data points from every hand washing cycle: time, location, duration, employee ID, hand hygiene gestures, use of soap and water, and other quality indicators.
Why We Measure Quality?
It is impossible to enforce compliance without measuring it. Furthermore, it is challenging to improve performance without accurate personal and instant feedback at the point of use.

Gamification of Hand Hygiene
How do we gamify?
1. Soapy uses gesture recognition technology powered by computer vision to assess each individual's hand washing technique according to the WHO and CDC Guidelines.
2. Users follow a step-by-step animated video that depicts the hand washing cycle from soap to rub to scrub to rinsing hands.
3. Users receive a total score (0-100) immediately upon completion of their hand washing cycle. The total score is then broken into three distinct sections: soap, rub and scrub, and rinse. Each section's score is also shown to the user, allowing them to better understand areas they can improve in their next Soapy washing cycle.
