News From Soapy: ECO Micro-Station COVID-19 Installation Improvements

April 14, 2020 Netta Stahl

COVID-19 has left us with demands to stay away from strangers as much as possible in order to limit the spread of the disease. To answer the challenge of installation and maintenance of new equipment during COVID-19, Soapy has developed an app that will enable any institution an easy installation of the ECO micro-station, without the need for external help.

The ECO micro-station only requires a connection to electricity and a water inlet and outlet. The device is easily mounted on walls and countertops and the total installation time takes roughly 40 minutes. Through the newly developed app, the ECO micro-station connects to the local Wi-Fi network. This allows the micro-station to transmit all relevant data (water and soap usage, wash quality assurance and user identification data) to the Soapy Wisdom platform. There, hygiene managers can review when employees last washed their hands and use the data to maintain a high hygiene standard in their institution.

ECO micro-station installation in action – simple and quick

Soapy’s new plug-and-play ability enables institutions around the world to install the revolutionary ECO micro-station as soon as they receive it, without having to contact a technician first. In such times, when movement and access are limited, we know it is important to be able to install the ECO units without depending on external help. All it takes for the ECO micro-station to be installed is electricity and water in the chosen location.

Standard electric socket connection

Soapy is calibrated to deliver the exact amount of soap and warm-temperature water needed to cleanse the hands perfectly, in standard with CDC and WHO hand hygiene guidelines. It is efficient in saving otherwise wasted resources, such as overuse of soap, water and electricity used to heat the water. With Soapy’s AI technology, businesses are now able to ensure that all of their staff members are following safe hand hygiene protocols by highlighting any trouble spots and generating data on both individual and group users.
